I'm one of those people that when they find something that they love, they have to tell everyone about it. So, here come some plugs for some very fabulous programs. Check 'em out. Or not. I don't really care. (This just gives me something to blog about to pass the time; that's the honest truth). Also, in all honesty, these programs have been truly life changing for Dallas and I over the past few months. So there you go.
1. DAVE RAMSEY. People. If you aren't on the Ramsey bandwagon, then you better jump on quick! The man is brilliant. I love his program because it is simple and it is nothing that you haven't heard before; he just gives you an easier way of applying it. Check out his book The Total Money Makeover and get going.
2. LOVE AND LOGIC. I love this parenting philosophy!!!! Yes, Will still has tantrums and hits and disobeys. So what is the difference? I'm not angry. And, I don't go to bed crying because I'm a bad mother anymore. (At least not more than once a month anyway). Click on the link to see more of what it is about and to find out about classes. This is for early childhood development, which is different than the other L&L courses that are taught. It has made a night and day difference in how Will behaves. He knows- if you disobey, you will face a consequence. We love it.

You have no idea how stoked I am to read your blog today! You've posted about two of my favorite things. I am extremely impressed with you. I hope you know that you are one of my most favorite people on this beautiful earth.
Yes. Avoid our household for at least one more day, just to be safe. It is just a 24 hr bug, and they are already doing better.
You know Ty and I hit the bandwagon a few months ago and we are so happy we did! Our truck is paid off and we are on our way with student loans! I love that guy! He really is just a reinforcement of what the prophets have told us to do all along and he just helps us know that it really is possible to get back on track!
I have always wanted to learn about the love and logic type of parenting. So I am just going to break down and do it! I have told my neighbors about it and we all want to be better parents!
I LOVE Dave Ramsey. I listen to him whenever I am in the car from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. That is my only beef about his program......the time it is on the radio!
I am waiting for the day that I can call in and scream........We're debt free!!!!
