One year older and wiser, too

We celebrated Dallas' 26th birthday this last weekend. It was fun to get together with some friends at Tommy's Barbecue (delicious if you are ever in the area), spend time with just our little family of 3.5, and make some new memories. He said that this year he actually feels like he is an adult. Maybe it's the fact that we have almost 2 kids, I'm not sure, but he doesn't feel like a "kid" anymore.

Dallas had to work and do school ALL DAY on his birthday, except for lunch. At his request I made a gourmet meal- chili dogs- and he even blew out the tea light candle on his brownie. (I swear I had birthday candles).

What can I say about the most incredible man I have ever known? I love you. I'm so glad you're mine. I'm so glad you get older before I do!

That last picture makes me chuckle. It is SO not Dallas to take cheesey pictures. Very funny!

And Amy, you are ALWAYS welcome at my house! Lovies.

So interesting that Dallas turns 26 the same year we have been married 26 years. Hmmm. I guess that means he was born in 1983.
One of Brock's favorite ways to eat hot dogs is smothered in chili. Yum!!!

This may sound completely bizarre, but I think that these are the first pictures you've ever posted of Dallas where his teeth are showing. Having never met him, when I first saw the pictures I thought that they were maybe of his brother or something. Haha! happy birthday, Dallas!
