Things to look forward to in January

When you're pregnant it's hard not to dwell on that infamous due date. Since mine is a little shady, I decided that I'm going to get excited about other things along the way. Here are some things I'm looking forward to in the first month of 2009:

1. The Bachelor- It's a guilty pleasure, I must admit. Plus Jason is so cute and that's a nice bonus.
2. My directing class. Finally something that pertains to my degree! I can't wait to get my hands dirty.
3. My OB appointment on Thursday where we will be scheduling our big ultrasound.
4. Wintercross in Heber. I love this white-trash event, it makes my little boy smile.
5. The Wilson Family Birthday/New Year's steak and shrimp dinner. Shrimp is one of the few things I've been craving this pregnancy (that and mozzarella sticks from Arby's. Mmmm).
6. The plethora of Birthdays we celebrate this month- James, Kristie, Beau, my Dad, Clay, Nate... I know I'm forgetting someone.
7. LOST. I can't wait to be sucked back in again.

And last, but certainly not least, we have decided not to move to Logan. Dallas is instead going to be working part time at Wasatch County and going to school full time. It allows us to have a flexible schedule, excellent benefits, and better pay than we could find in Logan right now. We are excited to actually have a plan. We are going to stay at Grandma's until the end of this semester, and then we will be finding a small 2 bedroom apartment to move our family into while we are trying to get through school. So, if you know anyone that's renting a place for about $800/mo let us know! I'm glad we will be in our own place by the time the baby comes.

Yay for The Bachelor! Love it! And yay for staying in Heber!!! We will keep our ears open. If anything ever opens up in our complex, I'll let you know. Our rent is dirt cheap in comparison to the rest of Heber.

I'm so happy that you aren't moving to Logan and hope you can find something a little closer to our house again- that way we can go on walking trips like in the old days! Also- I don't know what wintercross is but it sounds too "sportsy" for my taste. :)

Love your blog background, it reminds me of you. I think Leslee's B-day is in January! I love and miss you and need to see you soon!! Ty is off track so one of these days we need to do a "girl" day!

Hey, you guys could share my bedroom with me! I still have enough room for about a half a mattress and if we go right down the middle it'd only be $125 each +utilities. I know you want to.

PS I'll read with you only if you make up a cool name for me and we promise to talk serious smack on every book we read.

I don't know how I feel about LOST. It is just too weird sometimes. Although, I know I'll watch every episode! GOSH! And I watched the Bachelor last night too, I'm excited to see what happens (especially since Deanna comes back!)And I am so glad you aren't moving so far away...I'm going to want to see and hold baby Nicoll!

I love the Bachelor too! Jason is so cute and such a sweetie! I was disappointed the girl from Orem went home last night- I thought she was cute and wanted to see what she was like.

It's nice to finally have a plan huh? that's something we're realizing at the moment also. Ladd loves LOST. I'm thinking maybe though, that we need to start getting some answers in that show! I've been out of the "blogging" world for a couple of weeks now and way to go on an Associates degree (that's more than I have) and I'm glad the baby drama went ok. It was cracking me up, especially that part about the diaper! You're so cute!

There are few things more important than excellent benefits especially when you are pregnant.
What school do you guys go to? Do you commute down to Orem ?
Oh by the way........if you want to add another commute to your lives, the apartments in our ward run around that price tag. :)
