Hi all! I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still alive. We have settled in what we affectionately call "the basement" at Grandma K's house. It's surprisingly wonderful. I like not grocery shopping or coming up with what to fix for dinner every night. When we get the internet on the 9th I'll post some pictures of our new "digs". (Wow. I'm so not cool).
I know what you mean about the food. My mom spoiled us! It is so nice not to have to decide anything. I'm glad you guys are feeling somewhat settled. I can't wait to see "the basement."
Wow! That was quick! I'm so glad we still get to see you even though you've moved. You guys are too cute! I was noticing your links - Nate Henrie - we were in the same ward in Layton. He babysat my kids and Nancy is a dear friend. How are you related?? We LOVE the Henries. Small world!!
Amy, Okay I'm sitting here trying to write this while holding Kayla. (We women sure do know how to multi-task, don't we?!) Congratulations on 5 years, and sorry I'm saying that so late. Sorry about having to say goodbye to your house, it is a hard thing to do. But ya live and learn and grow with each year and each NEW experience. Love ya! (Thanks for your comment on my blog, it was good to hear from you.
I remember when I moved out of my first house how sad I felt, but I have learned to love each home that I have lived in. How fun to get spoiled by Carolyn. She is such a great cook. Have a great weekend. bye now.
Miss Amylee, I just found out about your online book club from Kalie's blog. I am intrigued about this little idea. Can I invite myself and join even if I do have a difficult time reading Jane Austen (sorry to Kalie)? I find her to be completely flowery and hard to wade through. However, I will try my very best to be a good girl and read it as soon as I finish my current reading project............
