Time Out
I put children in time out countless times each day. (Literally. The other day I babysat, and at least one child was in time out for about the first hour. I kept track, and the kids were in time out 15 times between 9-11:30AM!) I decided it was time for ME to get a time out.
So that's exactly what I got- to hang out with some of my favorite people, eat incredible food, and talk about some of the finer things in life.

It really was wonderful to have some 'me' time. It's funny but true, I love my kids more when I've had a moment to focus and myself.
What a wonderful idea. I know Kalie had a blast and was so glad she could come.
I think mommy time-outs are the best. In fact, when I am raging around the house, sometimes I put myself in time-out.

I don't know why, but talking about time out reminds me of the story you told about pushing Will under water when he sprayed the little neighbor with the hose, and I just wanted to say that you crack me up, and I plan on copying your parenting style to a T. I love you. Seriously.
