Will is growing up; another milestone this month- his first hunt!!! I remember my Dad taking Clay hunting when he was a little boy (3 YEARS OLD!), and I've always been excited for when my own son could go with his dad. They took Grandpa Craig along for the ride, too.
Dallas said that Will was an excellent hiker. He helped in the hunt by carrying a giant stick around and hitting trees with it. Will said he was going to knock one of the treees down so the deer would trip and then he could hit it with his "mighty weapon" and kill it. (The stick= mighty weapon).
No, they didn't get a deer :).
They did, however, get a grouse! And they hunted down some pretty good memories along the way.

No grouse picture? I don't even know what a grouse is, actually. Oh my, those are the best pictures. I love your new camera. :)
I love it! He looks so grown up in his hunting gear. I bet Dallas is loving that he has a hunting buddy now.
The three amigos. Very cute. I bet Will was very excited to go with Grandpa and Dallas. I bet dad had some miniature candy bars in his pocket to bribe Will.
So cute! Billy was so excited that we had boys, so they can hunt with him. we miss you guys!
What a studly group of hunters!
I love the fact that your husband goes hunting. My dad used to go every year with my brothers and my uncle. My mom would always tell him to have fun but DON'T bring home a deer.
As kids, we couldn't wait until he came home because we would raid his lunch sack for the yummy snacks that my mom put in for him.
What a big, brave hunter you have there! Go Will!
