Grandma Great

My Grandma Jewel had to move into an assisted living home. She lived with my parents for over 5 years, so it's very different to go to my parents and not see my sweet grandma rocking in her glider by the window. She moved to the home just before my Mom and I went to Florida, but we were finally able to go visit her for the first time this weekend.

The kids LOVED it! There were birds in all the hallways, gold fish, and turtles. We even got to buy snacks at the front counter. We took Grandma Great on a walk and colored some pictures for her closet door. We miss seeing her every time we go to my Mom's, but we look forward to seeing her again at her new house.

We love you Grandma Great!

Those pictures are the sweetest treasure! And what is a Peach Rainbow, may I ask?

Oh Kalie- Do you remember Pace Bars? Or sometimes they were called Astro Bars? Well, a Peach Rainbow has the same flavor as the peach astro bar, but it is in slush form and has a generous helping of very creamy dreamy ice cream floating in it. Seriously- it's de-lish.

Glad that it took an intense craving to drag you down this way- we loved hanging out! You have the cutest family. We wish we lived closer!
