I wish I knew what I were doing...

I saw these words on my Academic Profile and started crying:

Academic Standing: Senior

Right now, I hate that I'm taking a break from school for awhile. I hate it. But I feel like I have no choice. Who quits when they're a senior? Oh yeah, ME.

PS- 4.0 is my favorite number.

Amylee darling, you're not quitting, you're just doing something more important at this time. What could be more important than these little spirits Heavenly Father is sending you to care for and influence their lives to return to Him. When the time is right (and I have no doubt it won't be too long), you'll hit the books again, and you'll get that degree, but the MOM degree is much more important. We love you, and 4.0 is awesome. We're so proud of you.

You have worked so hard for this Amy. If you were really doing it just for the degree, I think you would have stopped when you had Will. This is for you and you have rocked!

Now you are just taking a different kind of 'you' time. You get to spend your days with an adorable little boy and a newborn (soon). That's the life if you ask me!

Oh Amy, you are just so funny. You aren't quitting. You are taking a break to raise your cute family.

Listen up Amylee darling, you listen to your grandma Nicoll! She is spot on. You are not a quitter. Everyone that knows you knows that. Take care of yourself, there will less time for that really soon!

Woot! A senior? That's awesome. After a little break with the baby, you'll just be that much stronger when you go back.

You are the brains, woman! Don't worry about taking a break. I know this sounds weird, but it's hard for me, too, knowing I won't be back to the books for a while... until we're settled and maybe having some kiddos and until I can pay for that PhD in cash. It's all about timing. However long it takes is just the right time.

Just think of Camilla Kimball (President Kimball's wife). She went to school up until her 80's, I believe. It is always a good time for learning and learning how to be a good mom is another type of learning.
You will finish so don't stress.
