Ben and Maggie Hansen

Last Saturday Dallas and I went to the most incredible wedding we will ever, ever go to. No lie. His best friend Ben Hansen married his long time sweetheart Maggie Diamond at The LaCaille. The best part about the wedding (and trust me, it was very hard to choose a best part) was Maggie's DRESSES. Yes, that is plural. She was married in her Mother's dress, and then changed for the reception into her own wedding dress. The were both beyond description. Here are some pictures. You HAVE to double click on them to enlarge so you can really see.

This was her mother's dress. Maggie looked like some old school actress- my Grandma and I decided she looked like Greta Garbo.

This is HER dress. Oh my goodness. There are no words. I'm 99% sure this dress cost more than any wedding I have ever attended. Unbelievable.
Someone once told me that perfection is in the details (I believe it was Aimiee Geddes). That is how this wedding was- it was all about every little detail. From the little blue butterfly pinned to the back of her mother's dress when they were married, to the tiny pearls inside each flower on the cake. Here is a slideshow- I know it won't do it justice, but you can get the idea. I feel bad for anyone getting married that I know in the near future because their wedding will be compared to this:

You are right, that is the most incredible dress. What a gorgeous wedding. The flowers are amazing as well. It's always fun to go to other people's weddings and see what they do.

However, I AM going completely private soon so when I do that I will be sure to invite you. Here is our blog address. Just go here and then add us. Text me if it doesn't work.

I know you were looking forward to this wedding for a long time, and it looks like it didn't disappoint. What would it be like to plan a wedding where money was no object? Tell Ben congrats!

I knew those 2 would get married! Such a picture perfect wedding. Maggie's sister Jenney is one of my best friends from high school. Looks like her mom had some fun planning this! So cute she wore her mom's dress. I hope Ellie wants to wear mine!
