Backyard: Check!
-
We are LOVING having our back yard done! Dallas worked tirelessly and his
brother Beau came from Logan several times to help us. We laid sod with the
hel...
Last week I had two showers to go to- the first for my sister-in-law Liesel and the last for my cousin Laura. Here are some pictures! Shanna and Me at Liesel's shower. These are from Laura's shower last Saturday. Laura and Me- we have been "best cousins" forever. The cute Wilson cousins: Daisy, Annie, Laura, Kim and Joy. My Mom and sister-in-law Kaydee That's all for the picture showers- until next week anyway! Seriously, I'm going to be shower poor.
Last Wednesday, April 23rd, Dallas and Will and I went for a small family four wheeler ride up by the gun club and gravel pit in Heber. It was a gorgeous day, and it felt great to have the wind on our faces! Will loved it (of course), but he loved throwing rocks just as much. Oh to be young and easy to please...
We spent Friday night in Salt Lake and went out with Dallas' friends Ben and Maggie. While we were waiting in line to eat at the Red Iguana, Dallas put Will in this newspaper box. You would have thought he was at Disneyland he was laughing so hard. I also wanted to post this video from a few days ago. Will and I had just returned from grocery shopping and I got him out of the car and ran some bags inside. He usually follows right behind me. When I turned around he was gone! Watch the video to find out where we found him. (Don't forget to turn off the music at the bottom!)
I posted a video at the bottom of my blog (thanks to my old buddy Nic Siler). It really does show what a perfect world would be like. Scroll down to the bottom, pause the music and enjoy. I PROMISE it is worth your time.
Isn't it about time that we got into the 60's? We have been spending as much time as possible outside, and we couldn't be happier! The past few days have been spent chasing Will all over making sure he doesn't fall in the creek by our house, riding bikes, playing baseball, going on short four wheeler rides, going to the park, and playing with bubbles (Will says it buh-balls- everything round is a ball these days). A sunburn has never felt so good. Here are a few pictures from my fun day with McKenzie and Will- they are my little twins!
As luck would have it, John Mayer announced his tour for summer 2008... AND HE'S COMING TO SALT LAKE ON JULY 21ST! Those of you who know me know that I pretty much LIVE John Mayer, so, as you can imagine, I am beyond excited! He is coming with Colbie Callait, and a guy named Brett Dennen is opening for him. I had no idea who Brett Dennen was, so I looked him up and he is pretty awesome. I added a few of his songs to my playlist if you want to scroll WAAAAYYYY down to the bottom and listen. It will be worth your time! YAY JOHN MAYER!
I know I already posted today, (I also know that you know that I'm addicted to blogging, so it's not like I have to try to hide anything!) but my friend Laurel sent me this cute picture of our family. We went shooting with the Hansen family (Billy, Laurel and Hank- sweetest baby ever!) on conference weekend. It was fun, and cold, and frightening, and muddy... thanks for capturing the memory Laurel! And then there's this fabulous picture of Edward and Bella from the upcoming movie Twilight. I would say that Robert Pattinson is looking very Edwardesque. However, Kristen Stewart looks too hot to be Bella! Don't you fans agree? I pictured her beautiful, don't get me wrong, but more of a natural beauty than a check-out-my-eyeliner beauty....
At least it feels that way! I feel like my sweaters are suffocating me, my house is covered in filth no matter how much I clean it, and my dog can't seem to stay dry. This picture was taken the very beginning of December. Unfortunately, that is about what it looked like this morning. Kalie, I AM SO JEALOUS. Arizona sounds like Heaven.
This evening Dallas and I were watching T.V. and the beauties from Deal or No Deal show up in a commercial. Dallas says "Amy, you could be on Deal or No Deal!" I'm thinking- 'What a sweet husband I have to think I could get in one of those "DRESSES" and open a case and make some sort of stupid comment to get more T.V. time." Then he says- "You would be energetic and people would think you are fun." I realize he just likes me for my personality.
